Do you offer test rides?

Absolutely! We believe the best way to choose the right bike is to ride it. Our location provides access to quiet residential streets for comfortable test rides and there's even a steep hill nearby so you can experience how different models perform on climbs. Whether you're comparing comfort, power or handling, we'll help you find the perfect ride.


Do you offer financing?

Yes, we offer traditional financing through Synchrony and lease-to-own financing through Snap Finance.


Do you accept trade-ins?

Yes, we consider trade-ins based on age, condition and marketability. Email us (ebikecentralpdx@gmail.com) a few photos and details about your bike.


Do you sell pre-owned bikes?

Yes, our inventory changes frequently, so contact us or stop by to see what is available.


Service & Repairs


Do you service bikes purchased elsewhere?

Yes, we do service work on bikes purchased from other retailers.


Do you work on non-electric bikes?

Yes, we service electric bikes, traditional bicycles, scooters and moto bikes.


Do you repair flat tires?

Absolutely. Flat tire repairs are among our most common services.


Do you offer free diagnostics?

Yes, we provide free diagnostics and repair estimates so you can understand your options before committing to repairs.


Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended but not required. Walk-ins are welcome. Average service turnaround is 3 - 5 business days, depending on season and parts availability.


What kind of repairs do you perform?

We perform tune-ups, brake service, drivetrain repairs, electrical diagnostics, flat tire repairs, accessory installation and many other services.


Do you perform electrical diagnostics?

Yes, but only on UL-certified electric systems and batteries.


Do you perform wheel rebuilds?

No. We do not offer complete wheel rebuilds, but we're happy to recommend a local wheel-building specialist if needed.


Do you assemble bikes purchased online?

Yes. We can assemble and inspect many bikes purchased online. Contact us for details.


Rentals


Do you rent bikes?

No. E-Bike Central does not offer bike rentals. We specialize in sales and service.


Policies


Do you offer warranties?

New bikes include manufacturer warranties. Warranty coverage varies by brand. Please contact us for details.


Do you work on all e-bikes and scooters?

For the safety of our customers and staff, we perform electrical service only on e-bikes and scooters equipped with UL-certified electrical systems and batteries.


What is your return policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. New bicycles may be returned within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, provided the bike has been ridden fewer than 15 miles, has not been registered for the manufacturer's warranty and is returned in like-new condition with all original accessories. Bicycles ridden more than 15 miles may still be eligible for return within 7 days, but are subject to a 30% restocking fee.
